One of GeoEnergy Enterprises LLC's (GEE's) founders, Mr. John Genung has received Popular Science Magazine's prestigious BEST of WHAT'S NEW AWARD for his invention the GeoColumn as being the revolutionary new product that made "Going Geo Just Got Easy" for everyone. The editors of Popular Science made such award after evaluating thousands of new technologies for the period. Such endorsement by recognized experts in the field is recognized by all of us here at GeoEnergy Enterprises as a major achievement.

In addition to the Popular Science award and also as gratifying was the selection by the readers of Hanley-Wood Publishers Top 100 Products of 2002 by the readers of Handley-Wood Publishers magazines (Hanley-Wood publishes Building Products, Remodeling, Custom Home, Builder, and Residential Architect Magazines). The GeoColumn will be featured again in their May-June 2002 Building Products Top 100 Magazine.

Also Mr. John Genung, the inventor of GeoColumn, in recognition for his work in the field of geothermal heat exchange, was accepted into membership of Sigma Xi, the scientific research society. This award was made by selection of the membership of over 75,000 scientists and researchers of Sigma Xi organization and represents the one of the epitomes of peer recognition in the world.
